Hotel Ivalo is located in the heart of the village of Ivalo on the shore of the River Ivalojoki. The highway E75 runs through the village and the distance from the hotel to Ivalo Airport is only 8 kilometers. The village of Ivalo is the administrative and commercial centre of the Municipality of Inari, making all the necessary services within short walking distance of the hotel. Our modern hotel is homely and pleasant.

Hotel Ivalo is surrounded by Northern Lapland's wilderness and the National Park with numerous rivers, lakes and fells. From Ivalo you can continue on to Northern Norway, the Artic Ocean and the Nort Cape, Hammerfest or the Murmask region of Russia. The activity services of the region provide wintertime experiences such as snowmobiling, husky dog safaris and reindeer sleigh rides. In the summertime, activities include trekking, fishing, canoeing and even gold panning. A visit to the reindeer farm may be the highlight of your stay or indeed a visit to the Sámi Museum Siida and the Northern Lapland Nature Centre.
