1st Day - Arrival (Thursday)

Transfer from the Ivalo airport to the Hotel. Check-in and dinner in the restaurant.

2nd Day - Direction Grand Nord

After the breakfast meeting with the guide, delivery of thermal clothes, briefing about the safari program and check-out from the hotel. After packing all the safari equipments departure to the snowmobile safari, 1 person/snowmobile. At first we drive on ice and along the legendary Lake Inari, if the snow conditions are good we drive the eastern coast of the lake. In this part of the lake we have very beautiful landscapes and sometimes also a lot of reindeers. During the day we have picnic lunch in the wilderness by open fire.

Our safari proceeds through the magical arctic landscape of forests and fells until we come to Näätämö where we overnight in an original local Holiday Village. We go to relaxing sauna and enjoy dinner in the evening. Total driving for the day is about 130-145 km.

3rd Day - To Norway, Arctic Ocean

In the morning after breakfast we continue our snowmobile safari to Norway and drive in very variable landscape until we reach the open Arctic Ocean by one of numerous Norway fjords. Sometimes the weather/snow conditions in Norway can be very difficult, so the guide will decide the route.

We enjoy lunch during the day in Norway and in the afternoon we are back in Finland in the same Holiday Village where we overnight. Sauna and dinner in the evening. Total driving for the day is about 90 – 145 km (depending on the weather and the snow situation). Guide will see the snow/ice situation in Norway and decide the route in Norway according weather conditions.

4th Day - Back to Ivalo

After breakfast we continue our trip and drive through the forest, over the fells and over Inari lake towards Inari. If the weather/snow situation is good enough we will drive through the wilderness area towards Ivalo. During the day we enjoy picnic lunch by open fire or the lunch can be also be served in Inari in local restaurant.

In the afternoon we are back in Ivalo and warm sauna is waiting for us. Check-in, dinner and Safari Diplomas are given. Total driving for the day is about 125-145 km.

5th Day - Departure (Monday)

Breakfast. Transfer to Ivalo airport.
