1st Day - Arrival

Arrival to Ivalo airport, transfer by taxi from the Ivalo airport to the Hotel (8 km). Check-in. Dinner and overnight.

2nd Day - Husky farm visit and short husky drive

Breakfast. Meeting with Club Nord guide by the reception and delivery of thermal clothes in the Safari Office beside the hotel. Departure by bus to Husky farm where husky man is waiting for us with lovely huskies. We see how huskies are living and if we are lucky there could even be husky puppies. We get a initiation about husky driving. Guides will tell you how to drive husky sledge. You can drive a little roundtrip (approx. 3 km) with huskies and taste the power of the huskies. One is driving and the other one is sitting in sledge (children under 15 years old will sit in the sledge). During the ride the clients can change places. Track is easy for the beginners, along the river ice and over the field. After visiting lovely huskies return to hotel. We enjoy lunch in the wooden Kammi restaurant beside the hotel or in hotels restaurant depending on group size. After lunch you will have free afternoon for shopping and relaxing. You can also borrow skies, snowshoes, slides, kick-sledges from the garage free of charge. Sauna. Dinner in restaurant.

3rd Day - Daytrip to Nellim

Breakfast. After the breakfast departure by bus to small Lapp village Nellim, which is situated near the Russian border. First we will spend some time outside, we will try ice-fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoes, sledges ect. We will do walking trip to an reindeer fence and on the way we will see some pitfalls, we will hear stories about life in past and in today. After outdoor activities we will have lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon we will learn about Inari sami and skolt sami culture, see traditional clothing and handicrafts. After presentation we continue by bus to Nellim orthodox church and the border line of Finland and Russia. In the afternoon return to the hotel (about 16h00). Sauna. Dinner in restaurant.

4th Day - Visit to the Reindeer farm and the Lapp museum, Siida

Breakfast. Departure to the Reindeer Farm by bus. We will meet reindeers on farm's own yard and maybe feed them. We will also drive a small tour with reindeer (300 m) near by the farm. You are able to try throwing the sámi lasso. Lunch/coffee will be served in the adjoining traditional cottage. During the lunch we hear stories about reindeer herders history and modern times. We get reindeer driving licence! Depending on group size the lunch can be also in Siida Museums main restaurant. After visit we will continue our trip and drive by bus to the Lapp museum Siida. We will take a tour in the museum. The museum has received many international awards. We will see the original way of living of Sami people and lot of beautiful pictures from Lapp wilderness (for example flora, fauna, six seasons of 
Lapland...). Return to the hotel by bus in the afternoon (about 16h00). This is nice day to see Lapp way of living. Sauna. Dinner in the restaurant.

5th Day - Snowmobile Safari in Ivalo area

Breakfast. According snow/ice situation we keep the right to change the driving route and the duration! Total duration 3 hours (including briefing, delivery of helmets and the safari, driving approx. 25-40 km depending on group size and the skills of the drivers). Briefing about snowmobile driving. Our guides will give you instructions how to drive snowmobile nice and safely. Delivery of safari equipments (helmets and cagoules) at the Safari Office. Departure to snowmobile safari, 2 persons/snowmobile (children under 12 years old will sit in a sledge pulled by snowmobile, we do not recommend the safari trip for children under 5 years old, the trip in the sledge can be too cold for small children in case of very cold weather). We will drive along the snowy River Ivalo and along the legendary Lake Inari. We spend nice winter morning or afternoon driving with snowmobiles and enjoying the beautiful winter nature. Warm juice is served during the trip. Lunch in hotels restaurant. Afternoon free. Sauna. Dinner in the restaurant.

6th Day - Optional Safaries

Breakfast. You can choose from the optional programs, reservations made at latest during previous day, for example snowmobile safaries and different activities, skiing, snowshoes, …many different alternatives. You can also have a free day. Lunch in hotel's restaurant. Sauna. Dinner in the restaurant.

7th Day - Winter Activities with guide

Breakfast. Today we will try different winter activities with guides behind the river near the hotel. Clients can make some teams in advance, you will have some sporty winter activities: quad driving on snow/ice covered track, horse sledge trip (if the weather is not too cold for the horse), lasso throwing, snow bandy, snowshoes, a trail where you can identify some typical lapp animals and even observe them if you are lucky. Warm juice is served by the open fire. Lunch is served in the restaurant. Afternoon free. You can also borrow skies, snowshoes, slides, kick-sledges. Return of thermal clothes. Sauna. Dinner in the restaurant, Diplomas will be given.

8th Day - Departure

Breakfast. Transportation by taxi to the Ivalo airport.

Lapp ceremony during the stay.

Driver is always responsible for damages of snowmobile up to 800 €. In bigger damages insurance covers the part which cost more than 800 €.
